Harvard buildings evacuated by bomb threat
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (16 / April / 2016) .- Harvard University Monday evacuated four of its buildings after receiving a bomb threat via email, while authorities review the university facilities.
In an issued statement shortly after noon, the University reported that the Science Center and the Sever, Emerson and Thayer buildings were evacuated.
He added that police officers and other government units have been deployed to check the facilities and the veracity of the threat.
Shortly before 14:00 local time, the University reported that so far '' nothing to substantiate the threat mailed been found '', plus either the origin of the message has been determined.
The statement said that given the terrorist attacks that took place last week in Paris and Beirut, '' we understand that these threats will cause great anxiety for many in our facilities '' so it will continue its monitoring and information dissemination.
