Attract more women to the MBA, shortcuts to the universities


Female enrollment in certain graduate programs such as MBA, is still lower than that of men, which has prompted business schools to create financial support to encourage their participation.

Of the 186,000 graduate students in Mexico, 50.4% are women and 49.6% men, according to the Anuies. But in an MBA, the average percentage of female students is between 20% and 30%, according to calculations of business schools internationally.

In the IPADE Business School MBA ranking number one in Expansion magazine, 22% of program participants are women 78% men. At Harvard, they represent 41% of enrollment in business programs.

The figure varies between schools, but they are still a minority for many reasons.
