Kvyat unharmed from a horrific accident in qualifying Japan

Daniil Kvyat emerged unscathed from a terrible accident in the final moments of the qualifying session of the Grand Prix Rosberg and allowed to break the hegemony of Hamilton.

The Russian driver lost control of his car to slightly step on the grass in a fast curve, 10, collided violently against the barriers and gave a somersault. His Red Bull was off the track with broken axles.

The accident caused the red flag Kvyat on track in the absence of less than a minute to the end of the session, ruining intentions to improve the times of all the drivers and invalidating the last lap of all them.

This unexpected made the provisional time at that time were the final, allowing the pole to catch Rosberg with Hamilton in second place. "The run was good, I felt pretty good, but never mind. I'm glad Kvyat is safe," said Hamilton, who regretted not being able to complete the second attempt by the accident Kvyat said.

Kvyat confirmed instantly through radio was right and soon after left the car under his own power. The Russian said the accident was the fault of lack of experience. "It was a total beginner mistake," said the 21 years.

"I put two wheels on the grass and there was no braking area, so what happened next was something logical," he said in Suzuka.

"It was a nasty shock. Sorry for the guys on the team. They were not easy weeks and now this accident is more work for them," Kvyat, who was then subjected to a medical check said.
